During the Winter break, 17 undergrads took BUS 353 Entrepreneurship online.  The class met 3 hours a day online and was taught by ShiftGroups Stefan Doering who designed the course and Gerrit Wolf, Director of the Innovation Center.  Students logged on from India, Korea, China and California as well as from home locally. Each student delivered a five minute pitch the final day for his or her business, which ranged from new security photo for a smart phone to a USB stick for movies.   To get there, students listened to short lectures on the 13 components of building a business plan.  For each component students broke out into teams to practice and get feedback from each other and staff. This approach is being developed to sell national wide and to be turned into a game to be played without instructors.
