Undergraduate business majors this spring won regional student business plan competitions. The DARE competition on March 28 at LIHTI at Stony Brook University lead to the LI Competition on April 11 at Farmingdale College. 

The DARE panel of experienced entrepreneurs chose Junior David Kerezius for the $30k DARE first prize for Feedies, a startup that makes and markets an air proof baby bottle. They chose Senior Daniel Perruci for the DARE $20K second prize for Profound, a startup that makes and markets a location service for items like car keys lost in a local area. Third prize went to MD student Joseph Miccio for INKredible that makes and mar-kets a novel laser process for removal of tattoos. 

The LI Competition panel of judges, also, chose Feedies by David Kerezius for the $10k first prize, and INKredible by Joseph Miccio for the $5k second prize. These winners travel to the state competition on April 26 in Albany. They compete with student startups from nine other regions of the state.
