SBU business students in Rome in July created thin business plans for businesses in the ancient city of Pompeii, in the renaissance cities of Florence and Rome, and the industrial revolution cities of  Amsterdam and Manchester.  For a final project, students created thin plans for businesses today that connected their European experiences to the US.  Plans included a Gelato Store for Smithtown by Catherine Borrello, Character shoes for dancers made in Italy and sold in the US by Davina Roberts, Mobile Health Clinic for Needy Areas by Kaitlyn Poon, European Chocolate Store on LI by Hiral Kadakia, Soccer Training School on LI by Thomas Nawadi, Silent Disco for NYC by Kaitlyn Walsh, and Web Design for Startups by Kenji Japra. Students also took and International Business course to complete half of the International Specialization.
