Stony Brook College of Business Innovation Center News
      Seven projects were selected for the next stage of the Social Entrepreneurship Competition.  Science projects include Mosquito Be Gone, a nontoxic repellent by Ruchi Shah,  Clean Water, a new filter for desalination, by Plinio Guzman, Brain Control, a thought process for invalids for turning lights on or off by Luisa le Donne and Biomass for Diesel Fuel, using work from BNL. Social Organization projects include Business Plan Consulting for makers in the Innovation Lab by Shweata Iyer, Social Club for alumni by Sal Farruggia, and Textbook Exohange, by Hassan Sheikh, Ruzin, Wadha, and Rui Sarna. They will work with mentors over the winter break and three will be selected January 25.  The final three will pitch February 25.
